Banks of the Marne Classic Canvas Wall Art. This pretty pastoral print features the River Marne near Créteil in France, it was created by Paul Cézanne in 1888. Paul Cézanne was a Post-Impressionist painter from France whose art began the transformation from 19th Century art to the radically different art of the 20th Century. Cézanne’s work is always easily recognised with his repetitive brushstrokes and use of colour.
