No. Our floating frames use kiln-dried timber with secure D-ring fittings. The shadow gap is structural — the canvas sits on internal mounts inside the outer frame, so there is no flex or sag, even on large sizes.

Yes — get in touch. We regularly produce custom sizes up to 3 metres wide in rolled canvas, and our largest stretched canvas size is 41 inches square (105 × 105 cm). Anything beyond that is quoted on request.

Stretched canvas is the easiest to gift — it ships ready to hang, looks premium straight out of the box, and arrives within 5–7 business days. For something a step up, the black floating-frame canvas is hard to beat.

Stretched and floating-frame canvas hold up best in bright rooms. Our pigment inks are rated for fade resistance under normal indoor light, and the matte canvas surface won’t throw glare back at you the way glass-fronted prints can. Avoid placing any print in direct, all-day sunlight — even archival inks fade if exposed long enough.

A stretched canvas is the canvas alone, wrapped tight over a timber stretcher — the image continues around the sides for a clean, edge-to-edge look. A floating frame takes that same stretched canvas and drops it inside an outer timber frame with a small shadow gap between the two, giving a more formal, gallery-style finish. Same artwork, two different presentations.

Light enough for a standard picture hook on most wall types. A 24×16 inch floating frame weighs around 1.5 kg, a 36×24 inch is roughly 3 kg, and our largest 41×41 inch piece sits at about 5 kg. We fit heavy-duty D-rings and picture wire as standard so the weight is distributed evenly.

We’d steer you away from unframed paper in any high-humidity room — repeated moisture can curl the paper over time. For a bathroom, kitchen or laundry, a stretched canvas or framed paper print (sealed behind acrylic) will hold up far better. Hang well clear of the shower or hob in any case.

Absolutely. Place separate orders (or drop us a quick email and we’ll combine the shipping). Many customers order a small lustre print to test the artwork in their space first, then upsize to canvas or a framed piece once they’ve seen the colours on their own wall.

Every print is made to order, so we can’t accept change-of-mind returns once production starts. If you’re unsure which finish suits your space, get in touch before ordering — we’ll send sample comparisons, talk through your room, and help you pick. If anything arrives faulty or damaged in transit, we replace it free of charge.

Our pigment inks on premium cotton canvas are rated to hold colour for 75 years or more under normal indoor light, away from direct sun. The canvas itself is acid-free and won’t yellow with age. Treat it like any wall art — keep it out of harsh, all-day sunlight and it will outlast most furniture in the room.

Standard floating-frame colours are black, white and natural timber, available on the product page. For premium options — Tasmanian Oak, dark walnut, brushed gold or matte charcoal — drop us an email with the artwork and size and we’ll quote a custom frame. Lead time adds about 5 working days.

It’s the same printed canvas, finished differently. Stretched is wrapped over a timber frame here in Perth and ships ready to hang. Rolled is shipped flat in a protective tube without the frame — popular for very large custom sizes, overseas orders, or customers with a local framer they prefer to use.

We don’t recommend it. Even on a covered verandah, the swings in temperature and humidity will eventually warp the timber and lift the paper. If you want art for an alfresco space, talk to us about a sealed acrylic print — better suited to outdoor edges, though still kept out of direct weather.

One artwork, multiple panels. We split the image cleanly across 3, 4 or 5 individual stretched canvases — each panel is gallery-wrapped on its own timber frame and arrives ready to hang. You space them on the wall with a small gap between each (we include a hanging guide). Each panel is packed individually but ships in one consolidated box.
