Young Woman Drying Stretched Canvas Art. Berthe Morisot created this impressionist portrait using the medium of oil. Morisot’s most favoured subject to paint was her daughter whom she painted extensively thus by documenting her daughter’s growth. Sadly, Berthe Morisot died one year after this painting was created. Morisot’s died of pneumonia after tending to her daughter whilst she suffered from the same deadly condition. Morisot’s work has been referred to as delicate and charming by nature, this is never more apparent than in this pretty print.
