Basquiat Style Love Print

This piece riffs on Jean-Michel Basquiat’s raw, downtown energy. Stacked variations of the word ‘love’ – LOVE, lover, love, loverm – are scrawled in cobalt blue, fire-engine red and brush-pen black, with paint drips, pencil marginalia and a couple of looping signatures along the bottom edge. The yellow ground is built up in uneven washes, giving it the feel of a worked-on studio wall.
